KincaidKINCAID – State Senator Andy Manar (D-Bunker Hill) and Representative Sue Scherer (D-Decatur) hosted office hours in Kincaid to assist families affected by the recent flooding in Christian County.

Residents had the chance to meet with representatives from the Illinois Department of Insurance and Illinois Department of Natural Resources to ask questions, get information and receive assistance navigating the process.

“It’s important that people whose lives have been disrupted by this flooding have access to all the necessary resources during the recovery process. I appreciate that the Department of Insurance and DNR were able to help people today,” Manar said.

“It’s absolutely devastating to see and hear about what many families have been going through with this flooding. We wanted to connect residents with as much support as possible to aid in their recovery process,” Scherer said
